Rob studied Law and graduated from the University of Maastricht in 1998. After working for a short time at the Social Investigation Department of the Municipality of Maastricht, he joined a law firm in Schinnen where he worked for 3.5 years. Between 1 March 2002 and 1 August 2007, Rob worked at Goorts & Coppens lawyers in Roermond where he mainly practised civil law. Rob has also gained expertise in the following disciplines of law:
- Employment Law
- Rent Law
- Contract Law
On 1 August 2007, Rob started the lawfirm, Cornelissen & Snijders Advocaten with his businesspartner, Mikis Snijders.
Rob Cornelissen has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the register of legal areas of the Netherlands Bar: Tenancy law (commercial property, residential accommodation) On the basis of this registration, he / she is obliged to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal area in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
